Tennis

Urmston Tennis Club provides both social and competitive tennis.

Urmston remains one of the few clubs in the area offering grass in addition to shale and all-weather courts.

The tennis section represents the club in the South West Manchester League and currently enjoy a position in the 1st division.

Competitive league games are played during weekday evenings with practice sessions during the week and on Saturday afternoons.

Established tennis players are welcome to attend the practice sessions, whilst for beginners there are plenty of opportunities to develop on the extensive array of courts.
